The bureau plans to replace a Metro3000 device on the MSP ring of the existing network with a set of newly built OSN3500 to facilitate the subsequent network expansion. There are several PP rings under the Metro3000 device, and the bureau wants to complete the device replacement without interrupting the services of the existing network.

Current network information:

The MSP ring consists of network elements A, B, C, D, E, F, and A sequentially connected, with a link capacity of 2.5G, in which network element F is Metro3000 and the other network elements are OSN3500, and the software version of OSN3500 is V1R6 (5.21.16.13), and the bureau is planning to build a new set of OSN3500 to replace network element F. There is no landed service on the existing network element F, and all MSP rings and PP rings are carried. There are no landed services in the existing network element F, which carries MSP ring and PP pass-through services, please refer to the attachment for detailed network information.

Combined with the actual operation, the scheme is summarized as follows.

Preparation:

1, plan the ID and board map of the new OSN3500 in advance, and create a new pre-configured network element in the T2000 network management based on the planned ID and board map, and the ID of the new OSN3500 should preferably not be the same as that of the replacement object Metro3000, in order to prevent rolling back the operation in the event of an unforeseen situation.

2. Count the MSP ring-passing services and the SNCP services of the lower PP ring of the Metro3000 device, and configure and activate these services in the pre-configured network element OSN3500.

3. Set up the ring multiplexing segment protection group information of the newly built OSN3500, that is, set up the node parameters and east-west mapping board positions according to the plan.

4. Complete the hardware installation and power-on work of the newly built OSN3500, and each single board must be installed according to the pre-planning.

5、Backup the network management database and the whole network script.

Operation process:

1, the network management operator directs the site to cooperate with the personnel to unplug the PP side of the optical fiber, and this pair of optical fibers into the corresponding slot OSN3500, at this time, the PP ring business is not affected, the new OSN3500 can be accessed to the network management for a single-station debugging. Use Navigator to modify the new OSN3500 ID to the planned ID, the master reset, set up the gateway network element of the new 0SN3500 in the DCN management interface of the network management, and the pre-configured network element on the network management can be logged in.

2. Issue the new OSN3500 configuration and perform consistency checking to ensure that it passes the consistency checking.

3. Stop the multiplexing segment protocol of the newly built OSN3500 (can be done in advance).

Unplug the optical fiber connecting network element F and A, connect the 7 slot of network element A with the 12 slot of the newly built OSN3500, confirm the correct connection of fibers on the network management side, and ensure that the optical power of the 7 slot of A and the 12 slot of the newly built OSN3500 are at normal values.

6, the scene unplugged Metro3000 the other side of the fiber, similar to the network management to do the mandatory reversal, to complete the new OSN3500 and network element E connectivity, the network management to confirm that the site contact is correct and the optical power is normal. At this time, the instantaneous break time of the PP ring service under network element F is less than 50ms.

7. Clear all the inversions in the protection subnet attribute interface, and delete the MSP protection subnet at the network layer, and note that only the protection subnet is deleted at the network layer, and the path information cannot be deleted.

8. Right-click the Metro3000 network element to query the related fibers and cables, and delete all the fibers related to this network element.

9, in the network management to create a new OSN3500 and other related network elements of the fiber connection, pay attention to the east-west direction can not be connected to the wrong.

10, in the protection view search protection subnet, at this time you can search for a new protection subnet, the entire network deactivation reuse segment protocol. Perform a search path and compare it with the previous path to confirm whether there is any abnormality in the path.
