New OSN1500 network element main control board type is SSQ5CXLL410 and METRO5000 network element SLQ4 optical port docking after ECC does not work, in the upper end can not monitor this OSN1500 network element

Processing
1. Check the optical power and fiber connection is normal.
2. On site, use the command line to log in to OSN1500 network element cfg-get-board to query slot 4 and 5 empty without logical board configuration.
3. cfg-get-phybd query shows that the physical boards in slots 4 and 5 are sl1 boards.
4. Execute cfg-add-board:4,ssq1sl4 and cfg-verify to create the logical board as SL4 and verify it, and then the top-end can monitor this OSN1500 network element normally.
Root Cause
The SSQ5CXLL410 board can realize two rate types of 155M or 622M by replacing the 155M or 622M optical module; and this board is defaulted as SSQ1SL1 board in its configuration file. When no configuration is done, it is recognized as a 155M rate, resulting in ECC not being available after interfacing with a 622M optical port.
Recommendations and Summary
SSQ5CXLL4 supports 2 rates of optical modules, but from the name of the board, we are accustomed to think that it should be 622M, so it is recommended that the R&D modify the configuration file so that it defaults to 622M rate is more reasonable.
