During the opening phase of the project, the logical board configuration of the SSN1SXCSA veneer is EXCSA, which results in failure to meet the low-order crossover capacity and failure of low-order service downlinking, and the failure is resolved by reconfiguring the logical board to SXCSA.

Failure category
Cross-over unit
Phenomenon Description
At the project opening stage, the cross board of the OptiX OSN 3500 equipment at each bureau point is N1SXCSA, but by querying the logical veneer of each equipment through the network management, some bureaus show that the cross board is N1EXCSA, which leads to the failure of some of the low-order cross services of this equipment to be sent down due to the fact that the low-order cross capacity of the N1EXCSA is lower than that of the N1SXCSA.
Cause Analysis
Possible causes:
The physical veneer is not queried at the beginning of the opening, but is caused by adding the veneer manually.
Host version mismatch.
Single board failure.
Operation steps
Query the network management operation record. The opening is completed at the beginning of the opening by querying the physical board position and calibrating the opening, and it is not added manually.
Query cross-board single board software for: 7.11, host software for 5.21.18.12, version matching.
The network management on the main and backup cross board EXCSA for reversing test, reversing normal.
Delete the 10-slot spare cross board on OptiX OSN 3500 and manually add it as SXCSA, the alarm of the main control board shows: WRG_BD_TYPE, and the alarm of the 10-slot shows: the installed veneer is not the same as the actual veneer.
Soft reset the SXCSA veneer in slot 10, the veneer works normally.
The master and backup are reversed. Refer to steps 4 and 5 to complete the addition operation of the SXCSA veneer in the master board slot.
