Phenomenon Description
When the device adopts the R1CXL/R2CXL type of crossover board, the network management cannot add the SLT1, SL16, and SLQ41 service processing boards, and the device prompts that the single board type is not supported.
Cause Analysis
When the device adopts the R1CXL/R2CXL type cross board, the slot bandwidth of slot 11 is 622 Mbit/s, and the slot bandwidth of slots 12 to 13 is 1.25 Gbit/s, which is insufficient to support the operation of the SL16, SLT1, and SLQ41 service processing boards because of the following reasons:
The SL16 single board is a 1-channelSTM-16 optical interface board, and the maximum transmission bandwidth required is: 1*2.5Gbit/s = 2.5Gbit/s > 1.25Gbit/s, which exceeds the upper limit of the slot bandwidth of slots 11 to 13.
The SLT1 single board is a 12-channelSTM-1 optical interface board, and the required maximum transmission bandwidth is: 12*155Mbit/s=1.86Gbit/s>1.25Gbit/s, which exceeds the upper limit of the slot bandwidth of slots 11 to 13.
SLQ41 board is a 4-channelSTM-1/STM-4 rate-variable optical interface board, and the required maximum transmission bandwidth is: 4*622Mbit/s=2.5Gbit/s>1.25Gbit/s, which exceeds the upper limit of slot bandwidth of slots 11 to 13.
Operation Procedure
Re-exchange the service processing board with another type, or re-exchange the crossover board with a non-R1CXL/R2CXL type, then the fault is eliminated.
