HARD_BAD alarm reported on OptiX OSN1500 data veneer

Phenomenon Description

The OptiX OSN 1500 device inserts a single board with an interface board in slots 6, 7, and 8, and at the same time inserts a single board with a pending interface board in slots 11, 12, and 13, and the corresponding slot single board reports a HARD_BAD alarm.

Cause Analysis

Slots 7 and 12 share interface board outlet slot 15, and slots 8 and 13 share interface board outlet slot 17.

Slot 6 is the protection slot for slots 7 and 8, and slot 11 is the protection slot for slots 12 and 13. According to the TPS principle, slot 6 and slot 11 share the outlet slot slot 15 and slot 17.

Processing

If a single board with an interface board is inserted in slots 6, 7, and 8, no more single boards with interface boards can be inserted in slots 11, 12, and 13.
