There are two methods to convert the intelligent service path:

In the " SDH Path Management" view, use the "Downgrade to Legacy Service" method to downgrade.

In the SDH Smart Path Management view, use the Downgrade to SDH Service method to downgrade.

This article introduces only the second method

Operation Steps

1. Select "Configuration > SDH Intelligence > Intelligent Path Management" in the main menu of OSN3500 network management.

2. Right-click the intelligent service path that needs to be downgraded, and select "Downgrade to SDH Service". Click OK in the confirmation prompt box. At this time, if the error message "Smart circuits managed by SDH paths cannot be downgraded" is returned, it means that this smart service exists in " SDH Path Management", and you need to go to " SDH Path Management" to remove this service from " SDH Path Management". You need to go to "SDH Path Management" to delete this service from "Network Layer", and then carry out degradation again, and repeat step 2.

Note: This step can also be performed in "SDH Path Management" first:

In this step, you can also determine whether the path contains intelligent domains by using the "Converged Path or Not Converged Path" in the " SDH Path Management" window. If it contains an intelligent segment, delete the service from the network layer, and then go to the intelligent path management interface to downgrade the service.

3. After successful downgrading, the OSN3500 management system pops up a prompt dialog box showing successful downgrading. Click "Close".

4. Optional: Select "Configuration > SDH Intelligence > Intelligent Path Management" in the main menu, and the path cannot be queried.

5. Optional: Select "Configuration > SDH Intelligence > Intelligent Topology Management" in the main menu, select all intelligent network elements, and click "Cross Synchronization of Network Elements". The system pops up a prompt, click "Close".

6. Select "Service > SDH Path > SDH Path Search" in the main menu and click "Next" until the operation is completed.

7. Optional: Select "Services > SDH Path > SDH Path Management" in the main menu to view the successfully converted legacy service layer path.
