If the Ethernet port receives a CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) error frame, you can set the handling of the message through the network management.
Impact ofthis setting onthe OSN7500device: affects the processing of service messages. If the processing method is set to Discard CRC error frames, the Ethernet port will directly discard all CRC error messages.
Setting method:
1 . Select the OSN7500 network element in the main topology diagram of the network management, right-click, and select "Network Element Manager" in the pop-up menu.
2 . Select the board you want to operate in "Element Manager", and then select "Configuration > Advanced Properties > CRC Error Frames" in the Function Tree.
If you need to query the current processing mode of the error frame, go to 3.
If you need to set the processing method of the error frame, go to 4.
3 . Click "Query" at the bottom of the right window to query the current processing mode of error frames in "CRC Error Frame".
4 . Click the drop-down menu of "CRC Error Frame" in the right window, and select the processing method of the error frame according to the actual need.
5. Click "Apply", and then click "Close" in the pop-up dialog box.
