Recently, during the Optical Fiber Communication Exhibition and Symposium (OFC) in the United States, ZTE Corporation achieved the first successful transmission of 34GBd single-carrier PM-256QAM signals over standard single-mode fiber (SSMF) for 80 kilometers in an experiment, and verified for the first time that probabilistic shaping technology can greatly improve the transmission performance of 400G 256QAM, creating a new 400G single-carrier transmission This has created a new 400G single-carrier transmission record, and laid the foundation for the research of single-carrier higher-rate optical transmission technology.
The experimental results have been included in the OFC as a highly scored paper, marking that ZTE Corporation's research results in the field of ultra 100G transmission are at the forefront of the world and widely recognized by the industry! It is reported that OFC highly scored paper papers only account for about 2% of the published papers. These papers are selected and recommended by globally renowned experts from industry and academia, and are highly authoritative in the field of fiber optic communications.
