OptiX OSN 7500 Product Features and Specifications
The OptiX OSN 7500 II is Huawei's new-generation enhanced optical transport platform for packet transport. It is mainly applied to service scheduling nodes at the backbone layer of MANs, accomplishing the scheduling and transmission of multiple types of services with different granularity.
The OptiX OSN 7500 II adopts a "unified switching" architecture with packet transport capability, enhanced packet characteristics, enhanced industry characteristics, enhanced TDM characteristics, and other features, while enabling interoperability with the existing transport network to meet the needs of customers' packet services and the development of multiple service bearers on the existing network.
I. Product Features
1. Multi-service unified switching and intelligent transmission
Based on unified switching and hybrid line card, it realizes intelligent transmission of Ethernet, SDH/ " target="_blank" >ATM, TDM and other services in any proportion; it realizes unified switching of packet and TDM services at any level with high efficiency and high performance, and the bandwidth is "0". Waste
Intelligent line card single optical port unified transmission of packet and TDM services, to achieve the evolution of different types of services between the worry-free, "0" waste of investment
2.PID enables customized metro ultra-wideband transmission
A single PID chip integrates the functions of OTU, MUX, DEMUX and other boards to provide 40G/100G capacity of a single optical port; SDH-like OAM, no need for complex optical layer design (e.g., wavelength planning and OSNR calculations), no need for complex optical fiber connection operations, greatly reducing the time for service turn-up; space savings of 50%, energy consumption savings of 40%.
3. Hard and Soft Pipes Realize High Reliability and High Efficiency Transmission
Traditional SDH hard pipeline, high-quality and low-latency transmission of TDM services, to ensure reliable transmission of production scheduling services and leased line services; MPLS-TP-based packet soft pipeline, supporting packet statistical multiplexing, to ensure efficient and reliable bearing of large-bandwidth data services; Unified switching-based soft and hard pipelines, taking into account the existing network services and future IP services, to achieve smooth evolution of the transmission network.
4.TP assistant simplifies operation and maintenance
MPLS-TP-based OAM solution - "TP Assistant" provides efficient planning, rapid deployment and easy maintenance capabilities, making large-scale packet network easy to manage; network-level visualization view, graphical display of end-to-end service configuration, Network-level visual view, graphical display of end-to-end service configuration, path performance monitoring and status; better maintenance experience than SDH: visual end-to-end bandwidth management, intelligent location of 92% of faults, analyzable and predictable network management.
5. Industry certification; certified by the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standard (EN 50121-4) for the railroad industry.
