Processing
E2LDG maps Ethernet packets to SDH net load using the company's customized protocol (private protocol), while E3/E4LDG boards encapsulate Ethernet packets into GFP packets before mapping them to SDH net load (common protocol), and the two protocols are not interoperable.
Root Cause
The encapsulation protocol does not work. The E2 board uses Huawei's private protocol, while the E3 board uses GFP encapsulation.
Solution
A. Check the network management alarms, and find that there are alarms such as R-LOF on the WDM side, and the optical power is normal, so there should be a problem of single-board docking;
B. Check the newly replaced LDG board, FEC enable state, are enabled;
C. Check the FEC modes of the two corresponding LDG boards, which are consistent;
D, with cfg-get-bdinfo; query, found that the original LDG board for the E2, while the new replacement for the E3, should be a single board model caused by different;
E, query information found that the E2 single board is the use of Huawei's private protocol, while the E3 single board is a GFP package, the protocol is different, resulting in the normal docking can not be changed, will be on both sides of the single board are replaced with E4 LDG, the problem is solved.
