Determining if an official telephone is not available at multiple sites

Dial the official phone number of each site of the official phone link to confirm whether the official phone number is not available at a certain site, or whether there are multiple sites from a certain site where the official phone number is not available.

If it is a single-site failure, the possible causes are as follows, please check them one by one.

The phone or the phone line is not working.

Incorrect phone settings.

The phone plug is not plugged in or plugged in the wrong place. Re-connect the phone plug, the business phone line is usually plugged into the "PHONE" port on the business board.

Check whether the "RING" switch on the telephone is in the "ON" position, indicating that it is ringing when a call comes in.

Check whether the dialing mode switch is in the "T" position, i.e. dual-tone multi-frequency dialing mode.

Check whether the official telephone of the called party is in the off-hook state, so that the official telephone is not available. The red indicator light on the upper right corner of the front of the official telephone is out. If the red indicator light is on, it means that the phone is not hung up, press the "TALK" key on the front of the phone to hang up.

The names of the keys, their positions and the indicators described in the steps may be different for different telephones, so please verify the operation according to the actual telephone you are using.

The parameters are incorrectly configured.

Check on the network management whether the conference phone optical port of each network element is set correctly.

Check on the network management whether the telephone number of each network element is set correctly, and the number cannot be repeated.

Official board failure.

Replace the faulty official boards: OSN7500 is the EOW board, OSN3500 is the AUX board, OSN2500 is the SAP board, and OSN1500 is the EOW board.

If it is a multi-site faulty official telephone is not available, perform the next step.

Check whether the official telephone planning meets the following requirements, if not, it has to be rectified.

Ensure that the official signaling of the network is the same or compatible.

Ensure that the length of the official telephone number is the same for each node, the recommended configuration is 4 digits.

Ensure that the conference phone number is the same across the network and is greater than the official phone number, which is recommended to be configured as 9999.

Ensure that the official phone numbers are not duplicated across the network, except for the network-wide conference phone number.

Ensure that the dialing method of each node's official phone number is set to dual-tone multi-frequency.

Ensure that the call waiting time is the same for all nodes. When the number of nodes is less than 30, it is recommended to set it to 5s, and when the number of nodes is more than 30, it is recommended to set it to 9s.

Fully consider the possibility of official loop whistling and reasonably utilize the ring splitting method to solve the problem of conference call whistling. When OptiX OSN 3500 is self-organized or mixed with OptiX OSN 7500, OptiX OSN 3500T, OptiX OSN 2500, OptiX OSN 2500REG, OptiX OSN 1500, the device can automatically detach the ring; when it is mixed with other devices, you need to detach the ring manually.

When there is no optical path between nodes but official intercommunication is required, it can be realized through official out subnet connection. For official out subnet, use Voice1 or Voice2 for audio port and Serial3 or Serial4 for data port.

Check whether there is any abnormality in the official link

If there is R_LOS alarm, please check the fiber, the opposite end transmitter optical module, and the local optical module for abnormalities, and deal with them to solve the problem.

Alarm and performance analysis whether there is any error code or pointer adjustment, if there is any error code or pointer adjustment, please check whether there is any abnormality in optical power, clock tracking, line board and crossover board respectively, and solve it.

Check for special equipment types on the link

Check whether OSN 2500 REG devices are present on the official telephone link, and adjust the official telephone link to avoid the presence of OSN 2500 REG devices on the link.

There is a non-MSTP device or even a friendly device on the official telephone link, if so, please confirm that this device type supports official telephony, whether the official telephone protocol is compatible, and whether the official telephone configuration is correct.

Check whether the main control board works abnormally

For dual-master control, prepare to invert the master control board and observe whether the official telephone returns to normal.

For single-master control, replace the main board, and see whether the official phone is back to normal.

Whether there is a site using SSN4GSCC master control before version V1R10C03SPC208, if so, the version needs to be upgraded to V1R10C03SPC208 and later versions.

Verify that the official log is turned on, if so, it needs to be turned off.

Execute the command:sftm-show-dir:EOWID, "mfs/log" to open the directory, check whether the directory exists EOWLOG.TXT file, if it exists, you can delete the file and then call to see whether the file is still generated, if it is still generated, it means that the official log is opened.

Change the phone number for stations where the official phone number does not work to avoid phone numbers with 55.
