POWER_ABNORMAL alarm reported on Huawei OSN3500 PIUB power supply board

  1. Query the Optix OSN3500 POWER_ABNORMAL alarm parameter through the network management or the navigator command :alm-get-curdata, and according to the type of the specific single board reporting POWER_ABNORMAL, determine whether it is a POWER_ABNORMAL alarm reported by the line board/branch board/optical amplifier board.
  2. The meanings of the POWER_ABNORMAL alarm parameters are as follows. Parameter 4 and parameter 5 distinguish the failed power supply according to the bits respectively. A bit of 1 indicates that the alarm exists, and a bit of 0 indicates that the alarm does not exist.

  3. Optix OSN3500 checks whether the external power supply to the PIU is normal, whether both PIU power supplies are flowing equally, and whether the voltages are equal.
