The functional version of Huawei OSN2500 device power interface boards PIU and PIUA is Q1. Q1PIU can only be used with OSN2500 common subracks and the Q1PIU single board has been discontinued with a maximum supported power consumption of 400W, while Q1PIUA can be used with OptiX OSN2500 common subracks and enhanced subracks with a supported power consumption of 650W.

PIU single board mainly provides power input interface for OSN series devices, and only one PIU board can meet the need of power supply for the whole subrack. The single board supports functions and features such as power access, lightning protection and filtering, as described below:
Lightning protection function: Provide lightning protection function to realize the single-board lightning protection failure alarm information reporting.
Filtering function: Provide filtering of the power port and structural shielding of the single board, enhancing the electromagnetic compatibility of the system.
Power supply interface: Provide 1 channel external unit (such as COA) power supply interface, each channel is 50W.
FAN power supply :Provide normal working voltage for FAN board.
Alarm Monitoring: Provide reporting of single board in-place alarm information.
Power Backup: Provide 1+1 hot backup, any one PIU board can fulfill the need of power supply for the whole subrack separately.
Huawei OSN2500 power interface board can be plugged into the slot 22 and solt23 of the subrack; the size of the single board is 73.0mm (W) × 226mm (D) × 74.0mm (H), the PIU weighs 1.3kg, and the maximum power consumption is 8W at room temperature and 25°C. The PIUA weighs 0.8kg, and the maximum power consumption is 2W at room temperature and 25°C.
The input voltage range of the Huawei OSN2500 equipment power interface board is: if the standard voltage of the input power supply for SDH equipment is -48V, the power supply voltage is between -38.4V and -57.6V; if the standard voltage of the input power supply is -60V, the power supply voltage is between -60V and -38.4V; if the standard voltage of the input power supply is -60V, the power supply voltage is between -38.4V and -57.6V. 60V, then the power supply voltage is between -48V and -72V.
