Prerequisites
- The user has the privilege of "Operator Group" and above.
- The device can run normally without a fan for 5 minutes.
- Fan boxes have been identified for replacement.
Impact on the system
When the fan box fails, the equipment may not operate normally due to untimely heat dissipation. It is recommended that the replacement of the fan box be completed within 5 minutes to avoid equipment failure due to failure to dissipate heat.
Replacing the fan box does not affect business.
Procedure
- Select the spare part. Select a spare part whose veneer parameters are identical to the faulty veneer.
- Query the current alarms of the board. Description:
A fan box failure generates the FAN_FAIL alarm.
- Remove and replace the faulty fan box in the field.
- Replace the defective fan box and place it in a shielding bag.
- Insert spare fan box.
Instructions:The fan box pull of the OSN 1500 does not have a catch, there is a loose screw to hold it in place, you need to use a screwdriver to loosen the screw before pulling out the fan box. - Verify that the fan box is working properly. Query the alarms and confirm that the original alarms have been cleared. Description:
When the fan box is working normally, the fan box operation status indicator lights green.
