Description of the problem
During the station opening process of a 3G network in country G, it was found that a large number of Node Bs could not come online, the wireless side checked that the configuration was fine, the transmission side also confirmed that the configuration was fine, and the fiber optic link was tested to be fine. The link end-to-end scenario is
RNC --- optical port docking --- OSN3500---- optical port docking ----MW (harrison) ----E1 docking -----Node B.
The microwave side of the third party also confirms that the link and configuration are fine.

Processing
Through the R & D and Harrison engineering discussion and research, finally found that our OSN products and Harrison products E1 to VC12 mapping mode is not right, our OSN products are bit asynchronous mode by default, and can not change the settings, and Harrison microwave has bit asynchronous and throughput mode, can be configured to change. Through communication with Harrision engineers, they cooperated to change the mode of microwave site connected to NodeB site by E1 to bit asynchronous, and the Node B site was up, and the problem was solved.
Root cause
1, tested the OSN network link configuration is not a problem, in and harrison microwave docking place to hang table return test, the link is normal. Preliminary exclusion of OSN transmission link problems;
2, the wireless RNC configuration is not a problem, and the replacement of the single board test, the device is normal, the same also ruled out the possibility of Node B side of the hardware and configuration abnormalities;
3, the third-party microwave link was tested for loopback, and the link is also normal;
4, OSN and microwave optical interface docking, timing is also no problem, to rule out the problem of timing matching.
Through the above points ruled out the hardware failure and docking timing problems, the problem may still be in our OSN and Harrison microwave docking parameters.

When our OSN products and third-party products are docked, we should not only consider the matching problem of timing, but also consider some parameters and underlying technical issues, when encountering docking problems, the first line should not be in a hurry to hang up the table to test, but also contact with the R&D in time, so as to solve the problem in a timely manner.
