The BUS_ERR alarm is reported on the standby cross board of an OSN2000 device in a bureau, which does not affect the service.

The bus_err alarm is reported on both the master and backup cross-over boards. The alarm parameters are: 0x01 0x05 0xff 0xff 0xff.

Solution
1, according to the alarm parameters, according to the OSN2000 bus number and the corresponding relationship between the board, positioning for the 6-slot business board and the bus between the cross board, but the customer feedback, the 6-slot is not inserted in the single board at all.

2. Since the OSN2000 device is configured with a service board that is not physically in place, but is configured with a logical board, and another service board that is normally open, the OSN2000 device is configured with a service
When the OSN2000 device is configured with a logical board while the service board is not physically in place, it will also report BUS ERR alarms on the cross board. Therefore, it is suspected that the alarm is caused by the service in slot 6 of the customer's previous configuration. After querying through the :cfg-get-xc:0,0 command, it is found that there is no service remaining in slot 6, so this cause is excluded.
3. Since the customer has already replaced the frame and two cross boards D2XCS before to handle the BUS ERR alarm, the possibility of frame and cross board failure is unlikely.
4, the customer feedback in the replacement of the frame, re-insert the single board, in the 5-slot single board plugged into the start of the BUS ERR alarm reported, and hard reset 5-slot single board, BUS ERR alarm will be eliminated, and so on the 5-slot single board after the start of the work, and then will be reported again.
5. It is suspected that the 5-slot board has interfered with the neighboring 6-slot bus, resulting in the reported BUS ERR alarm. After replacing the 5-slot single board, the BUS ERR alarm disappears, indicating that it is caused by the 5-slot single board failure.

1. For the BUS ERR alarm, first of all, you can locate which slot is reported by which single board bus through the alarm parameters.
2, when the configuration, cross board, service board and frame problems are excluded, the bus alarm may also be caused by other single board failure interference.
