Huawei's TMB1FXSO12 single board provides 12 FXS/FXO interfaces for voice analog signal access to complete the voice session communication function, and the FXS interface is used in pairs with the FXO interface to realize the Z interface extension function with the PBX, and the FXS interface is used in pairs with the FXS interface to realize the hot line service function. The TMB1FXSO12 is supported only when the Huawei E6616 main control cross-board is TMK5UXCME and the host software version is V100R022C00SPC100 .

Basic Functions
  • Provides 12 FXS/FXO interfaces, supports setting and querying of FXS/FXO port types. FXS port transmit gain (dB): -12.0 to 0.0 in 0.5 steps.
    • FXS port receive gain (dB): -6.0 to 5.0 in steps of 0.5.
    • FXO port transmit gain (dB): -16.5 to 13.5 in steps of 0.5.
    • FXO port receive gain (dB): -16.5 to 11.0 in steps of 0.5.
  • Supports BROSCHT function.

Service Processing

 Access and process 12-channel 64kbit/s signals.

Overhead processing

 Supports setting and querying of V5/J2 bytes.

Interface Specifications
  • External ports: DDN-1 to DDN-12, identifying 12 external ports, with the external port time slot fixed at 1 and the port number from 1 to 12.
  • Internal ports: 2M-1 to 2M-12, identifying 12 E1 internal ports, with internal port time slots fixed at 1 to 15 and 17 to 31, and port numbers 65 to 76.

The FXSO12 single board provides 12 FXS/FXO interfaces for voice analog signal access to complete the voice session communication function. According to its networking application, it can be composed of 2 typical application scenarios, as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2, respectively.

  • Application 1: FXS interfaces and FXO interfaces are used in pairs to realize the Z interface extension function with PBX (Private Branch Exchange).
  • Application 2: FXS interface is used in pairs with FXS interface to realize hotline service function.
