Solution
1.PS for SNCP service protection reversal instruction alarm, when the service protection reversal occurs, the system will report the alarm, manual reversal and automatic reversal will report the alarm.
2. Does the point in time when the PS alarm is reported represent the point in time when SNCP is inverted?
After verifying that for OSN 3500 devices, the internal specification of the device is that the priority of SNCP switching action is higher and the priority of switching alarm reporting is lower, so the switching PS alarm will be set to delay reporting, that is to say, when SNCP switching occurs, the priority of the physical layer has been done for SNCP switching, and PS alarm has been done for 1 minute after the alarm timer is reported, so the difference between the above AU_AIS alarm and PS alarm is about 1 minute. alarm and PS alarm differ by about 1 minute.
3. How to check whether SNCP inversion has occurred?
You can view the relevant SNCP inversion events under the Network Management Fault - Browse Event Log menu, and every SNCP inversion made by the device will have the relevant inversion log records, as follows:
