Description of the problem

On a certain date, you need to apply for OSN 3500 customized boards, and you need to query the version of OSN 3500 (including the patch version), the host version is 5.21.18.50P01 (V1R8C02SPC200), and you can query the patch version as SPH002 on the network management, and you can query the product matching table for the version of V1R8C02SPC200, but there is no such patch version under the version of V1R8C02SPC200.

Solution

1. Right-click on the corresponding network element in the "System - Network Element Software Management - Network Element Data Backup/Recovery" menu of the U2000 Network Manager to get the patch version as shown in the following figure:

The version shown is SPH002.

2. Use the command line to log in to the device using the command: patchpkg-get-pkginfo query, the query results are shown below:

Also SPH002.

3. Check the OSN 3500 version table, the V1R8C02SPC200 patch version is only SPH201,SPH202,SPH203,SPH205, and there is no SPH002 patch version, as shown in the following figure:

4. After checking the specific V1R8C02SPH202 supporting table, check the patch package version column has SPH002 mark, as shown in the following figure:

Confirmed OSN 3500 some patch version network management or command query version number shows non-known version number, such as showing SPH002, etc., but the actual patch version is the supporting table inside the version of the patch version, you need to check the specific version of the supporting table to query the specific patch version, for example, the network element patch version is SPH202, i.e., V1R8C02SPH202.
