OSN3500 New smart network element is not in the same smart domain as the existing network element

Description of the problem

A bureau has reported that the newly launched intelligent network elements in the Intelligent Topology Management are not in the same domain as the existing intelligent network elements, and the problem still exists after clicking Network Element Synchronization.


Process

Exhaustion steps:

1, check the intelligent topology management found that the new intelligent network element in a separate default domain, delete the network element where the default domain (does not affect the business), and then click on the topology management of the network element synchronization, the problem is still the same, suspected that the control channel does not work;

2. Check that the control channel in the LMP protocol management is empty, and check that the node ID is not duplicated;

3, check D4-D12 byte channel are sending and receiving normal;

4. Check the status of LMP and OSPF protocols in Advanced Maintenance, and find that the LMP and OSPF protocols are not enabled on the opposite end of the network element.

5, after enabling the LMP protocol and OSPF protocol query control channel is normal, again in the topology management click network element synchronization, the problem is solved.

6, subsequent operations: in the SDH intelligent circuit management, control link management, member link management, TE link management are synchronized across the network.


Root Cause

The network management automatically creates a default domain for the new smart network element, and you need to delete the domain to re-synchronize the topology network elements. The prerequisite is to ensure that the control channel is normal, and the D4-D12 byte sending and receiving status is related to whether the control plane protocol is enabled or not.


Solution

1. After enabling the LMP protocol and OSPF protocol of the network elements at both ends, delete the default domain automatically created by the network administrator for the network element, and then synchronize the network elements in the topology management successfully.

2. Subsequent operations: synchronize the whole network in SDH intelligent circuit management, control link management, member link management and TE link management.
