Cause 1: The main control board fails, causing all the boards on the network element to be out of position.
Hard reset or directly unplug the master control board.
Check whether the fault is eliminated, if not recovered, please select a spare board with exactly the same parameters as the faulty board and replace the main control board.
Check whether the fault is eliminated, if not recovered, turn to other reasons.
Cause 2: The AUX veneer has failed, causing the port on which the AUX veneer communicates with other veneers to fail, resulting in BD_STATUS and COMMUN_FAIL alarms being reported on all veneers.
Please select a spare board with exactly the same veneer parameters as the failed veneer and replace the AUX veneer.
Check whether the fault is eliminated, if not recovered, turn to other causes.
Cause 3: Motherboard failure, resulting in all the veneers on the network element being out of position.
Contact Huawei engineers to replace the motherboard.
Check whether the status of the single board is normal, if it is not restored, turn to other reasons.
Cause 4: The ambient temperature crosses the limit, causing all the veneers on the network element to be out of position.
Check whether the temperature of the server room meets the requirements of the index. If the temperature of the server room is too high, you need to adjust the operating status of the air conditioner in the server room to ensure that the temperature of the server room is in the appropriate range.

The temperature requirement for normal operation of OptiX OSN equipment is:
Long-term operation: 0°C to 45°C
Short-term operation (Short-term operation is defined as no more than 96 hours of continuous operation and no more than 15 days per year in total.) : -5°C to 55°C
Check whether the network element reports FAN_FAIL. if so, refer to the Alarm and Performance Event Reference to handle fan failures.
Check whether the network element reports TEMP_OVER or TEMP_ALARM alarm. If so, clean the dust screen on site or replace it.
