The actual installation slots of the Optix OSN2500 SSQ5CXLLN veneer differ from those shown in the U2000 network management, and the parameters of the CXLLN veneer can be configured through the U2000 network management system.The logical boards of the Q5CXLLN veneer in the network management when it is plugged into the new backplane are Q2SLN, UCXL, and GSCC.At this time, the logical boards of the Q5CXLLN veneer in the network management are Q2SLN, UCXL, and GSCC. slots as shown in Table 1.   • Provide RS232 interface OAM port for connecting with PC or workstation, and support RS232 DCE Modem for remote maintenance, which is led out through SEI board.
  • Provides 1 official telephone interface and 2 outgoing subnet telephone interfaces, leading out through the SEI board.
  • Provide 4-way broadcast data port Serial 1 to 4, leading out through SEI board.
DCC Processing Capability Supports D1-D1, D1-D3, D4-D12 channel types, see Network Management Information Interoperability.
Fan Alarm Management Provides fan alarm management function.
PIU Management Provide the presence detection function of the PIU of the power access board and the failure detection function of the lightning protection module in the PIU.
Protection Mode Supports 1+1 hot backup of cross, clock and master control unit.

  • Plugged into the old backplane can accomplish 20Gbit/s VC-4 high-order crossover, 20Gbit/s VC-3/VC-12 low-price crossover, 18.75Gbit/s access capability.
Fast Emergency Channel Provide two 4M HDLC fast emergency channels for realizing MSP, SNCP, TPS inversion and other functions.
Service Processing
  • Realize flexible scheduling of services.
  • Adding or deleting this service does not affect other services.
  • Supports SNCP protection at VC-4, VC-3, and VC-12 levels.
  • Supports cascading service VC-4-4c when STM-4 optical module is selected.
  • Supports cascading service VC-4-4c, VC-4-8c, VC-4-16c when STM-16 optical module is selected.
  • Supports up to 12 linear multiplexing segment protection groups.
  • Supports up to 12 ring multiplexing segment protection groups.
  • Supports up to 1184 SNCP protection pairs.
  • Supports up to 592 SNCMP protection pairs.
  • Supports up to 512 SNCTP protection pairs.
Protection Mode Supports 1+1 hot backup of crossover, clock and master units, and the protection mode is non-recoverable inversion by default.

  • Supports inputting two 2048kHz or 2048kbit/s timing signals, and provides the function of selecting external timing sources.
  • Supports outputting 2-channel 2048kHz or 2048kbit/s timing signals.

Problem Description

When OSN3500II is opened, it is found that the version number of Q5CXL single board is 5.21.xx.xx when queried on the network management, but it shows 5.36.xx.xx when queried on the command line.

It has been confirmed that this phenomenon exists in all OSN3500II versions. The purpose of doing so is to maintain consistency with OSN3500, and secondly, it is the need of network management modeling implementation. Simply put, OSN3500II has been converted to OSN3500 in order to maintain consistency with OSN3500, so the version number is converted in the network management.

This phenomenon does not exist when Q5CXL is applied to OSN1500 and OSN2500.
