Power-abnormal alarm reported on OSN3500 device GSCC

The Optix OSN3500 device GSCC reports the POWER-ABNORMAL alarm when the alarm is eliminated by resetting the jumper on the main control board. the PWRB indicator on the OptiX OSN 3500 network element main control board N1GSCC lights up red and the network management reports the POWER_ABNORMAL alarm. The second power supply voltage is -54V with 20% float. After reversing the two power supplies, the alarm was still reported on the network management. After confirming the alarm, it was found that the cause of the alarm was a jumper setting error on the main control board, and the jumper caps on the J17 and J16 jumpers had been removed.The J17 and J16 jumpers on the N1GSCC are used to control the input voltages used by the device. Jumper cap removed: the device uses a power supply with an input voltage of -60V. Jumper cap retained: the device uses a power supply with an input voltage of -48V.
Problem Description

After the OSN3500 device is normally powered up, the master control reports a power-abnormal alarm when the voltage and service are normal.

Processing

Check whether the power supply is -48V or -60V, set the jumper according to the corresponding voltage, if the setting is correct and the alarm exists even if the voltage is normal, please repair the single board.

Root cause

The input voltage range of OSN equipment is -38.4 to -72V, and the equipment can work normally with the voltage within this range.

But the detection function of the device voltage is on the main control board SSN1SCC. It detects two kinds of specifications, one is -48V, the normal range is -38.4~-57.6V) the other is -60V, the normal range is -48V~-72V.

The two inputs are realized by two jumpers J16 and J17, J16: the first system power supply, J17: the second system power supply; without inserting the jumper: the system uses -60V power supply; inserting the jumper: the system uses -48V power supply.
