It holds SNCP protection at VC-4-4c, VC-4-8c, VC-4-16c, VC-4-64c, VC-4, VC-12, VC-3 and AU-3 levels. The single board can be inserted in slot 9 and slot 10 of the subrack. slot 9 is the main board slot by default, and slot 10 is the backup board slot. The SDH Huawei OSN3500 transmission equipment GXCSA single board supports service scheduling, clock input and output, and other functions and features. The single board consists of cross-connection units, clock units, and so on. The single board can be inserted in the slot 9 and 10 of the subrack. holds single board 1+1 hot backup, and the protection mode is non-recoverable by default, and can be configured as recoverable. Provides two synchronized clock inputs and outputs, and the clock signal can be set to 2MHz or 2Mbit/s. The cross-capability of the GXCSA single board is as follows: High-order cross-capability: 40Gbit/s, Low-order cross-capability: 5Gbit/s, and access capability: 35Gbit/s.

Problem description

The recovery time for the two crossover single boards, GXCS and SXCS, to resume operation after power down and power back up is different, about 3 minutes for GXCS and 8 minutes for SXCS.

No. 1, GXCSA as a 40G high-order and 5G low-order cross board, and SXCSB as a 240G high-order and 20G low-order cross board, in the saving space of the cross matrix SXCSB high-order is 6 times of GXCSA, SXCSB low-order is 4 times of GXCSA, and if the saving of the cross matrix to the reserved memory needs to be saved in two copies (mfs and ofs1), then the saving space SXCSB high order is 12 times that of GXCSA and SXCSB low order is 8 times that of GXCSA. Therefore, the amount of data is large, the recovery is slow, and after power-down startup, when the cross-matrix is recovered, the process of CRC checking of the configuration file, reading of the high-order and low-order cross-matrices, correctness checking, recovering to the memory, and writing to the chip registers all take many times longer than the time spent on GXCSA. This calculation shows that the average time to restore the configuration SXCSB is 2.5 times longer than that of GXCSA.

Second, the cross chip used in GXCSA is a fixed bus rate, while the cross chip used in SXCSB is a dynamic bus rate, so it is necessary to set the corresponding bus rate of the slot to 622M or 2.5G according to the business veneer inserted in each slot.

Therefore, after power down, SXCSB needs to wait for the main control board to send down the bus rate of each slot, while GXCSA has a fixed bus rate and does not need to wait for the main control to send down the bus rate, which also affects the recovery time of SXCSB's power down service.
