The OSN3500 SDH transport equipment Ethernet port non-self-negotiation flow control method is divided into two cases. When a network element accesses Ethernet services through the external port of the Ethernet single board, it needs to configure various attributes of the external port in order to cooperate with the data communication equipment on the customer side to realize the normal access of Ethernet services.

1. Non-self-negotiation flow control mode: Select this flow control mode when the working mode of the port is not self-negotiation. "Enable symmetric flow control" means that PAUSE frames can be sent and received, "Send Only" means that only PAUSE frames can be sent, and "Receive Only" is the opposite.

Self-negotiation flow control mode: Select this flow control mode when the working mode of the port is self-negotiation. Enable asymmetric flow control" means only sending flow control frames, not receiving; "Enable symmetric flow control" means being able to send and receive PAUSE frames; "Enable symmetric/asymmetric flow control" means being decided by self-negotiation to use symmetric or asymmetric flow control; "Receive only" is the opposite. means that symmetric or asymmetric flow control is decided by self-negotiation.
