Phenomenon Description
The SAP on the OptiX OSN 2500 equipment does not report switching alarms, and on the panel of the network element, the SAP is grayed out. At the same time, two tributary boards, one optical amplifier board, and two PIU boards report COMMUN_FAIL and BD_STATUS alarms. Hard reset the SAP veneer, the fault is not lifted.
Cause Analysis
The SAP board is used to realize the inter-board communication function between the boards in the subrack, and when more boards report BD_STATUS and COMMUN_FAIL alarms, the SAP board failure should be considered first.

- Replace the SAP board, the alarm is lifted, and the problem is solved.
