OSN1800V EGS4 is a 4-channel GE Ethernet switching and processing board, and the version is categorized into TNF1 and TMB1. The single board is mainly used in telecommunication applications such as Ethernet service access, bandwidth management, and Layer 2 switching of Ethernet services. The single board supports Layer 2 switching, link aggregation, multicast and other functions and features. egs4 can be created as "egs4" and "egs4d" in the network management when the host software needs to be upgraded to V100R006C10 and above, and the single board can be created as "egs4" and "egs4d" when it is crossovered to TNZ5UXCMS. EGS4" and "EGS4D".   • The EGS4D single-board has two new port channels for connecting packet and SDH: EoD port (internal interface corresponding to IN1/OUT1) and virtual port 5 form one channel; EoD port (internal interface corresponding to IN2/OUT2) and virtual port 6 form the other channel.
  • The EoD scenario supports a maximum of 2-channel GE optical signal transmission, and supports the following three transmission scenarios:

    SDH service coming from the cross-board side <-> EoD port <-> virtual port <-> packet plane (packet single board)

    GE optical services coming from the IN3/OUT3 and IN4/OUT4 port side of the EGS4D single board <-> EoD port <-> virtual port <-> packet plane (packet single board)

    Supports mixed transmission of the above two scenarios.

  • Supports both EoD and EoS applications.
  • In the EoD scenario, virtual ports 5 and 6 have packet characteristics, and virtual ports 5 and 6 need to be configured with packet attributes. the EGS4D single board does not support the processing of packet data, and the processing of packet data is realized by the packet single board and the cross board.
