Phenomenon Description
The OptiX OSN 2500 has a PQ1 board in slot 13 that is protected by another PQ1 board in slot 5. Now the PQ1 in slot 13 needs to be deleted, so the TPS protection group between these two PQ1s is deleted first, and then the PQ1 in slot 5 is deleted successfully. when the PQ1 in slot 13 is deleted, the T2000 returns the error message "Cannot release service source, error code: 39492". The host software version is 5.27.01.16, and the PQ1 board software version is 1.17.
Cause Analysis
- A single board belongs to the TPS protection group.
- There are services configured on the PQ1 board.
- The corresponding interface board is not deleted
Procedure
- Check whether there is a single board belonging to the TPS protection group. Before deleting the PQ1 single board in slot 13, the TPS protection group has already been deleted, so this reason is excluded.
- Check the services on the PQ1 board in slot 13 and find that no service or path is configured on this board, which is also excluded.
- After checking, the PQ1 single board in slot 5 has no interface boards that can be deleted. the PQ1 single board in slot 13 has two D12S interface boards in slots 17 and 18. After deleting these two interface boards, the PQ1 in slot 13 is successfully deleted.
