In order to enable services to go up and down between the service processing boards and the line boards, and thus to enable services to be transported in the SDH network, SDH service cross-connections from the processing boards to the line boards need to be created.
Procedure
- Double-click the Main Topology icon in the Workbench view to enter the main topology diagram.
- Select the network element you want to operate, right-click it, and select "Network Element Manager" in the pop-up menu.
- Click the network element in the Element Manager and select "Configuration > SDH/PDH Service Configuration" in the Function Tree.
- Click Query to query the services of the network element.
- Click "New" and set the required parameters in the pop-up "New SDH Service" dialog box.
- Click OK.
