Huawei OSN3500 SSN1BA2 When the optical signal is transmitted over a long distance, the signal attenuation is high, and in order to make the optical receiver receive a normal optical signal, it is necessary to add an optical power amplifier board (BA). Increase the transmit optical power of the board to +13dBm ~ +15dBm or +15dBm ~ +18dBm, so that the transmission distance can reach 120km or 130km or more (G.652 fiber, loss at 0.275dB/km). It supports automatic control of laser temperature of EDFA (Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier) module and automatic control of optical power; automatic monitoring of input and output optical power of EDFA module and query of optical power; and protection function of EDFA module. When there is no input light, the laser is automatically turned off, and when the input light is restored, the laser is automatically turned on.

The single-board characteristic code is the code located after the single-board name in the single-board bar code.The single-board characteristic code of BA2 is used to describe the output optical power of the optical interface.
