Huawei OSN1500 SSR1SL1 realizes the reception and transmission of 1 channel STM-1 optical signals, completes the photoelectric conversion, overhead byte extraction and insertion processing of STM-1 signals, and reports the alarms generated on the line. The SSR1SL1 supports the standard optical interfaces of I-1, S-1.1, L-1.1, L-1.2, and Ve-1.2, of which the characteristics of the optical interfaces of I-1, S-1.1, L-1.1, and L-1.2 comply with the ITU-T G.957 recommendations, and the optical interface of Ve-1.2 is a Huawei customized standard.

There are multiple functional versions of the SL1 single board, and the functions provided by different functional versions differ.
There are R1, N1, and N2 versions of the SL1 single board, and the main difference between the versions is whether or not the TCM function and AU-3 services are supported. Among them, the R1SL1 is a 1-channel STM-1 optical interface board for the small board position, which is used in the sub-slot when the subrack slot is split.
The N1SL1 single board has been discontinued.
