Introduction to SSN1SXCSA Single Board Opening Considerations for Optix OSN3500

Because the logic board of the OSN3500 SXCSA single board is configured as EXCSA, it cannot satisfy the low-order crossover capacity, and low-order service downstreaming fails, so it is necessary to solve the failure by reconfiguring the logic board as SXCSA.
The crossover board of the OSN3500 equipment in each bureau is N1SXCSA, but by querying the logical board of each equipment through the network management, some bureaus show that the crossover board is N1EXCSA, which will lead to the failure of some of the low-order crossover services to be sent down from this equipment because the low-order crossover capacity of N1EXCSA is lower than that of N1SXCSA. The possible causes are as follows:

(1) The physical veneer is not queried at the beginning of the opening, but is caused by adding the veneer manually.
(2) The host versions are mismatched.
(3) OSN3500 device SXCXA single board failure.

For the above reasons, the specific operation steps are as follows:

(1) Query the network management operation record, the beginning of the opening is completed by querying the physical board position and checking the opening, and it is not added manually.
(2) query cross board single board software for: 7.11, host software for 5.21.18.12, version matching.
(3) the network management on the main backup cross board EXCSA for reversal test, reversal normal.
(4) Delete the 10-slot standby cross board on OSN3500 and manually add it as SXCSA. The alarm of the main control board shows: WRG_BD_TYPE, and the alarm of the 10-slot shows: the installed single board is not consistent with the actual single board.

(5) Soft reset the SXCSA board in slot 10, the board works normally.
(6) Reverse the master and standby, and refer to steps 4 and 5 to complete the addition operation of the SXCSA single board in the master slot.
