Cause 1: OSN2500 veneer failure.

Cause 2: OSN2500 motherboard reverse pinning or failure.
Treatment: Contact Huawei engineers and replace the motherboard. Check whether the veneer board starts normally.


Cause 3: OSN2500 software version mismatch.
Solution: Check the versions of the master control board and service board software to determine whether they match. If they do not match, contact Huawei engineers to upgrade the corresponding single-board software.


Cause 4: The OSN2500 external power supply fails to recognize the single board.
Treatment: Disconnect the power switch on the DC distribution box of Huawei's SDH equipment, connect the positive pole of the multimeter to the power terminal NEG (-) of the DC distribution box, and connect the negative pole to the power terminal RTN (+). Measure the voltage between power terminals RTN (+) and NEG (-), which should meet the following requirements: if the standard voltage of the input power supply is -48V, the power supply voltage should be between -41V and -60V; if the standard voltage of the input power supply is -60V, the power supply voltage should be between -51V and -72V.


Cause 5: OSN2500 network element power supply module failure.
Treatment: Replace the device power supply board.


Cause 6: Human configuration error or failure to configure the logic veneer.
Solution: Check whether the slot of the unopened single board is correctly inserted. If the single board insertion slot is wrong, adjust to the correct free slot and continue to the next step.
Check whether the faulty board is configured with a logical single board. If the board is not configured with a logical single board, right-click on the corresponding slot in the "Panel Diagram of Network Element", add a single board as necessary, and then check whether the single board starts working normally.


Reason 7: Abnormal temperature will also cause the OSN2500 board not to start.
Treatment: Check whether the OSN2500 fan operating status is normal, if the status is abnormal, replace the fan; check whether the OSN2500 device dust net is smooth, if more dust accumulates, clean the dust net or replace the dust net; test the ambient temperature of the server room, if it is higher than 45 ° C, then use refrigeration equipment to reduce the ambient temperature.
