a: The maximum power consumption of the subrack indicates the maximum power consumption configuration that the subrack can withstand and the maximum heat dissipation capability that the subrack has. Typical configurations for real-world applications consume much less power than this value.
Description:

The maximum power consumption of the cabinet in full configuration is equal to the sum of the maximum power consumption of all the subracks configured in the cabinet and the maximum power consumption of other configurations of the cabinet.

For transmission equipment, power consumption is essentially all converted to heat consumption. Therefore, the heat consumption (BTU/h) value of the equipment can be converted with the power consumption (W) value, the conversion formula is: heat consumption (BTU/h) = power consumption (W) ÷ 0.2931 (Wh).

The expected reliability metrics for OptiX OSN equipment are shown in Table 3.
