Analog package loading

When it is necessary to load the whole set of software to the network element, and the correspondence between each single board on the network element and the software has been defined in the form of simulation packages, you can use the function of loading simulation packages to improve the loading efficiency, reduce the complexity of the operation, and improve the security of the upgrade.

The simulation software package is included:

• All the software that needs to be loaded on the network element.
• A package description file that defines the loading attributes of each software.

Simulation package loading has the following main features:

• User operation is only for the network element, which is loaded through a unified operator interface.
• The loading can be successfully completed regardless of whether the state of the network element is NORMAL or not.
• When the upgrade fails, system restore is supported.

Diffusion loading

Diffusion loading is to load software packages in a diffuse way, i.e., through the inter-network element diffusion protocol, so that the software package downloads of all network elements can be synchronized as much as possible, in order to improve the efficiency of software package loading and reduce manual intervention and operation.

Diffusion loading mainly has the following characteristics:

• Adopting a step-by-step diffusion method to enable multiple network elements to download software packages in parallel.
• Sharing the network load.
• Balanced utilization of network bandwidth.
