This task describes how to query the protection mechanisms with which the device is equipped.
Prerequisites
- The user has the privilege of "Guest Group" or above as a network administrator.
- Protections have been created.
Impact on the system
Querying the protection inversion status has no impact on the system.
Before clearing the protection reversal status, make sure that the current backup board is working properly; if the backup board is not working properly, clearing the reversal will affect the service.
Procedure
- Double-click the Main Topology icon in the Workbench view to enter the main topology diagram.
- Select the network element you want to query in the main topology map, right-click it, and select "Network Element Manager".
- Query the protection inversion status.
- To query the protection inversion status of a linear multiplexing segment
- Select "Configuration > Linear Multiplexing Segment" in the function tree.
- Select "Query > Query Inversion Status".
- To query the protection inversion status of a ring multiplexed segment
- Select "Configuration > Ring-Multiplexed Segments" in the Function Tree.
- Select "Query > Query Rewind Status".
- To query the SNCP (Sub-Network Connection Protection) inversion status
- Select "Configuration > SNCP Service Control" in the Function Tree.
- Click Query to query the details of the protection.
- Querying SNCMP (Sub-Network Connection Multiple Protection) Inversion Status
- Select "Configuration > SNCMP Service Control" in the Function Tree.
- Click Query to bring up the Operation Result dialog box, and then click Close. You can query the detailed information of this protection.
- Querying SNCTP (Sub-Network Connection Tunnel Protection) Inversion Status
- Select "Configuration > Sub-Network Connection Tunnel Protection" in the Function Tree.
- Select "Query Reverse Status".
- To query the TPS (Tributary Protection Switching) switching status
- Select "Configuration > TPS Protection" in the function tree.
- Click Query to bring up the Operation Result dialog box, and then click Close. You can query the detailed information of this protection.
- Querying the Protection Inversion Status of a Packet Linear Multiplexing Segment
- In the Function Tree, select Configuration > Group Configuration > Group Linear Multiplexing Segment.
- Click "Query" to bring up the "Operation Result" dialog box, and then click "Close". You can query the detailed information of this protection.
- To query the protection inversion status of a linear multiplexing segment
- Clear the related protection inversion.
- To clear a linear multiplexing segment protection inversion
- Select Configuration > Linear Multiplexed Segments in the Function Tree.
- In the Board Mapping Relationships window, select the unit for which you want to clear the inversion, right-click, and select Clear.
- To clear the ring multiplexing segment protection inversion
- In the function tree, select "Configuration > Ring Multiplexed Segments".
- In the Board Mapping Relationships window, select the unit for which you want to clear the inversion, right-click, and select Clear.
- To clear SNCP protection inversion
- Select "Configuration > SNCP Service Control" in the Function Tree.
- Select the unit for which you want to clear the inversion and click Function > Clear.
- Close the Result dialog box that pops up.
- To clear SNCMP protection inversion
- Select Configuration > SNCMP Service Control in the Function Tree.
- Select the unit for which you want to clear the inversion and click Function > Clear.
- Close the Result dialog box that pops up.
- To clear SNCTP protection inversion
- In the Function Tree, select Configuration > Subnet Tunnel Protection.
- In the Board Mapping Relationships window, select the unit for which you want to clear the permutation, right-click, and select Clear.
- Close the Result dialog box.
- To clear TPS protection inversion
- Select Configuration > TPS Protection in the Function Tree.
- In "Protected Boards", select the single board that needs to be cleared from inversion, right-click and select "Force Recovery".
- Click "Confirm" in the pop-up dialog box.
- Close the "Result" dialog box.
- To clear the protection inversion of grouped linear multiplexed segments
- In the Function Tree, select Configuration > Group Configuration > Group Linear Multiplexed Segments.
- In the Board Mapping Relationships window, select the unit for which you want to clear the inversion, right-click, and select Clear.
