A bureau newly opened Huawei OSN1500 equipment, manually created this network element through network management, and when querying the physical board position, the physical board position (including the main control board itself) cannot be displayed. The command line:cfg-get-phybd query returns failure. The network element could not be created.

Query with command line:cfg-get-phybd returns null

1. Use the single-master working mode to create network elements, and the failure phenomenon remains the same;
2. After replacing the master board, create network elements, and the network elements are created successfully;
3. Collect the database of the original faulty master board and analyze it, and find that the database of the master board is corrupted, and the master board can be restored by doing the following operations:
a. Delete the database in turn by issuing the following commands for the master and backup master boards;
:dbms-delete- database:all,drdb,master :dbms-delete-database:all,fdb,fdbd database:all,drdb,master
:dbms-delete-database:all,fdb0,master
:dbms-delete-database:all,fdb1,master
:dbms-delete-database:all,fdb1, slave :dbms-delete-database:all,fdb1, slave slave
:dbms-delete-database:all,fdb0,slave
:dbms-delete-database:all,drdb,slave
b. Reset the master and backup master boards, respectively, and they can be recovered;
4. The original failure of the master board deletes the database, resets it, and then can be used for the normal creation of network elements;

1, the main control board and other single board communication failure;
2, OSN 1500 motherboard problems;
3, the main control board database is damaged, resulting in physical board position can not be queried (the database to return to the R & D, analyzed, the cause of the failure of the main backup main control board database in the synchronization of the unplugged board or power outage operation, resulting in damage to the main control board database);

It is recommended that when the newly opened OSN1500 device fails to query the physical board position, the database can be deleted, and then the main control board can be reset to recover.
