  • OSN8800 TN15LSC board belongs to the optical wavelength conversion class board, which is applied in the coherent system to realize the mapping of 1 channel 100GE or OTU4 optical signal accessed from the customer side to OTU4 signal, and the TN12LSC board occupies 4 slots, and the TN14LSC board occupies 3 slots.The TN13LSC/TN15LSC/TN17LSC boards occupy 2 TN13LSC/TN15LSC/TN17LSC boards occupy 2 slots.

    OSN8800 TN15LSC wavelength conversion board parameters
    LSC single board belongs to optical wavelength conversion single board, which is used in coherent system to realize the mapping of 1 channel 100GE or OTU4 optical signal into OTU4 signal on the customer side and the mutual conversion between standard wavelength optical signals in line with the requirements of WDM system.

    The application of LSC single board in WDM system is shown in Figure 1.

    Description:
    If the device uses Huawei's cabinet, in order to avoid the cabinet door compressing the optical fiber, the veneer uses G.657A2 optical fiber; if you do not install the cabinet door or use a third-party cabinet there is no cabinet door compressing the optical fiber, and the optical fiber type does not have this requirement.
    Indicator Lights

    There are 4 indicator lights on the panel of the single board:

    • Single-board hardware status light (STAT)-red, green, and yellow indicator lights
    • Service Activation Status Light (ACT)-green colored indicator light
    • Single-board software status light (PROG)-red and green indicators
    • Service warning light (SRV)-red, green, and yellow indicators

    Interfaces

    The types and uses of each interface on the OSN8800LSC single board are shown in Table 1.

    Laser Safety Level

    The laser safety level of the single board is HAZARD LEVEL 1, which represents that the maximum output optical power of the single board's optical port is less than 10dBm (10mW).


    OSN8800 TN12LSC Functions and Features

    The LSC single board supports wavelength adjustable, OTN interface, ESC and other functions and features.

    The specific functions and features of the LSC single board are shown in Table 1.

    Customer-side service type

    100GE: Ethernet service at a rate of 103.125 Gbit/s.

    OTU4: OTN service at a rate of 111.81 Gbit/s

    OTN function
    • Supports WDM side OTU4 interface.
    • Adopts ITU-T G.709 recommended frame format and overhead processing.
    • ODU4 layer:
      • Customer side access to 100GE, supports PM function.
      • Customer-side access to OTU4, supporting PM and TCM functions, and non-involved monitoring functions for PM and TCM layers.
    • OTU4 layer: supports SM function.
    WDM Specifications

    Supports DWDM specifications of ITU-T G.694.1.

    Wavelength adjustable function

    Wavelength-side optical signals are adjustable in the 80-wave range at 50 GHz intervals in the C-band.

    ESC Function

    Support

    Description:
    When the TN12LSC client side accesses OTU4 signals, ESC pass-through is supported and ESC processing is not supported.
    PRBS test function

    Supported on the client side when accessing OTU4.

    WDM side support when accessing 100GE and OTU4.

    LPT Function Not supported
    Error correction coding

    Customer side: FEC coding is supported only when accessing OTU4 services, in accordance with ITU-T G.709 recommendations.

    WDM side:

    TN12LSC: HFEC and SDFEC coding is supported.

    TN13LSC: supports HFEC2 encoding.

    TN14LSC: Supports HFEC, HFEC2 and SDFEC encoding.

    TN15LSC: Supports HFEC and SDFEC2 encoding.

    TN17LSC: Supports SDFEC2 and HFEC PLUS encoding.

    Description:
    Veneers with different error correction codes cannot be docked.
    Alarm and Performance Monitoring
    • The client side supports BIP8 monitoring for 100GE and OTU4 services (BIP8 for OTU4 is in burst mode), which can locate service faults.
    • The wavelength division side supports BIP8 byte monitoring (burst mode) for OTN, which can locate line faults.
    • Supports OTN performance monitoring and alarm monitoring functions.
    • Provides the following monitoring functions: laser bias current monitoring, laser operating temperature monitoring, optical power monitoring, etc.
    • Provides Ethernet RMON monitoring function.

    • Support CD and PMD performance monitoring function.
    Description:
    BIP8 byte monitoring is not supported on the TN12LSC client side only.
    Trunking boards

    Signals from the WDM side of the TN12LSCT01/TN14LSCT01/TN15LSCT01 boards can be trunked through other TN11LTXT01/TN54NS4T01/TN57NS4T01/TN12LTXT01 boards.

    The WDM side signals of TN12LSCT11/TN14LSCT11 single boards can be relayed through other TN11LTXT11/TN54NS4T11/TN56NS4T11/TN12LTXT11 single boards.

    The WDM side signal of TN13LSCT21 single board can be relayed through other TN12LTXT21/TN54NS4T21 single boards.

    The WDM side signal of TN14LSCT21 single board can be trunked through other TN12LTXT21/TN54NS4T21 single boards.

    WDM side signals from TN15LSCT31 single board can be trunked through other TN57NS4T31 single boards.

    The WDM side signals of TN15LSCT51/TN17LSCT51 single boards can be relayed through other TN57NS4T51/TN58NS4T51 single boards.

    The WDM side signals of TN15LSCT61/TN17LSCT61 single boards can be relayed through other TN57NS4T61/TN58NS4T61 single boards.

    ALS Function

    Customer side support when accessing non-OTN services.

    Test frame function

    Supported only when 100GE services are accessed on the customer side.

    Delay Measurement

    TN14LSC/TN13LSC/TN15LSC/TN17LSC single boards support delay measurement. You can measure the bidirectional delay of ODU layer 4 between two OTU boards, and the delay data is displayed on the network management.

    When the customer side accesses OTU4 services, delay measurement is not supported.

    IEEE 1588v2 Does not support
    Physical Layer Clock When 100GE/OTU4 is accessed on the client side, synchronous Ethernet pass-through is supported and synchronous Ethernet processing is not supported.
