Basic Functions
  • Applies only to the transmit portion of the OTM station for long span systems.

  • It can amplify the input optical signal of C-band, and the total wavelength range covers 1529nm to 1561nm.

  • It can support the system to realize the transmission of different spanning segments without electric relay.

Online Optical Performance Monitoring

Provides an online monitoring optical port, from which a small amount of optical signal can be output to a spectrum analyzer or a spectrum analyzer board to monitor the spectral and optical performance of the combined wave optical signal without interrupting the service.

Gain Locking TechnologyThe EDFA within the single board has a gain locking function, which does not affect the signal gain of other channels when increasing or decreasing one or several channels or when some channels fluctuate in optical signals.
Transient control technologyThe EDFA within the single board has a transient control function, making the system in the increase or decrease of channels, by suppressing the channel optical power fluctuations to achieve a smooth upgrade and expansion.

  • Detection and reporting of optical power

  • Provide temperature control of pump laser

  • Provide pump drive current, backlight current, cooling current, pump laser temperature detection and single-board ambient temperature detection.
