Protection requirements

The Optix OSN8800 TN53ND2 (2 x 10G line service processing board) is a line class board that interconverts the following signals: 16 x ODU0/8 x ODU1/2 x ODU2/4 x ODUflex2 x OTU2 or 2 x ODU2e2 x OTU2e. OTU2/OTU2e are DWDM standard wavelengths compliant with ITU-T G.694.1 recommendations. Mixed transmission of ODU0, ODU1, ODUflex, ODU2/ODU2e is supported.
TN12ND2, TN52ND2, TN53ND2, TN57ND2 need to set the "Single Board Mode", and the "Single Board Mode" of this application scenario is: "Common Line Mode The "Single Board Mode" for this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode".

TN52ND2, TN53ND2, TN57ND2 need to set the "Single Board Mode", and the "Single Board Mode" of this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode".
For TN52ND2T04/TN53ND2/TN57ND2:
In "Standard Mode", when the ODU time slot method is configured as "Auto Continuous", ODU0->ODU1->ODU2 is supported.
In "Standard Mode", ODU0->ODU1->ODU2 are supported when "Auto Random" is configured for ODU time slot method.
In "Compatible Mode", the configuration of ODU time slot mode is not supported, only ODU0->ODU1->ODU2 is supported.
TN52ND2T04/TN53ND2/TN57ND2 single board needs to set the "Single Board Mode", the "Single Board Mode" of this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode The "Single Board Mode" for this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode".
The total bandwidth of the two ODUflex corresponding to each OTU2 cannot exceed 10Gbit/s.
Only TN52ND2T04/TN53ND2/TN57ND2 support ODUflex in standard mode.
The same IN/OUT port supports mixed transmission of ODU0, ODU1, and ODUflex with a maximum bandwidth of 10Gbit/s.
The same single board can realize the mixed transmission of ODU0, ODU1, ODU2/ODU2e, and ODUflex level signals.
The "service modes" between different IN/OUT ports are independent and do not affect each other. For TN11ND2 board, if you modify the "service mode" of one IN/OUT port, the board will be reset and the service will be interrupted, and you need to delete all the service cross-connections of the other IN/OUT port before modification.
Only TN52ND2, TN53ND2, TN57ND2 support ODU0. Only TN52ND2T04/TN53ND2/TN57ND2 support ODUflex in standard mode.
The "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter settings of the line boards at the two sites of the up and down services must be the same. When the TN53ND2/TN57ND2 boards are interfaced with the boards that do not support the setting of the "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter, the "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter is set to "ODU0". When TN53ND2/TN57ND2 boards are connected to a single board that does not support the setting of "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter, the "ODU time slot configuration mode" needs to be set to "Auto Continuous". For example, when TN53ND2 is interfaced with TN52NQ2, since TN52NQ2 does not support the setting of "ODU Time Slot Configuration Mode" parameter, the "ODU Time Slot Configuration Mode" parameter of TN53ND2 must be set to "Auto-Continuous". "Auto Continuous".
Only 52ND2T04, TN53ND2, TN57ND2, TN53NQ2, TN57NQ2, TN52NS2T04, TN52NS2T05, TN52NS2T06, TN52NS201M01, TN52NS201M02, TN53NS2, TN54HUNQ2 support the setting of "ODU timeslot configuration mode" parameter. "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter.
