The Huawei SSN2PQ1A single board supports E1 signal processing, overhead processing, alarms and performance events, maintenance features, and TPS protection.

| Protection Mode | PQ1 supports TPS protection in conjunction with the outgoing board: N1PQ1 supports mixed protection, when the working board is N1PQ1, the protection slot can be inserted N1PQ1, N2PQ1 or N1PQM. N2PQ1 does not support mixed protection, when the working board is N2PQ1, the protection slot can only plug N2PQ1 single board.
