There are 2 versions of OSN3500 GXCSA , 03036439 SSN1GXCSA01 and 020MTL SSN1GXCSA02 respectively.Configuration on the network management The parameters of the GXCSA veneer boards can be configured through the T2000 network management system. The parameters that need to be set by the single board through the network management are as follows: no external clock and SSM (Synchronization Status Message) is not enabled, the following parameter configurations need to be given. Clock reference source, clock source tracking level, configure external clock, and enable SSM, you need to give the following parameter configuration, clock reference source, clock source tracking level, the type of external BITS (Building Integrated Timing Supply), set the S1 byte, select the threshold of the clock reversal protection action.
OSN3500 SSN1GSXCA Functions and Features
The SSN1GXCSA single board supports functions and features such as service scheduling, clock input and output, and so on.The cross-connect unit functions and features of the OSN3500 SSN1GXCSA single board are shown in Table 1. OSN3500 GXCSA Common Cross Clock Board Tuning and Configuration
After selecting the correct single board, you need to tune and configure the single board. It contains four parts: single board hardware check, single board configuration, single board tuning and verification test.
Hardware Check
Required: Check the hardware of the single board:
The marking on the handle bar of the single board should be correct and clear.
Veneer fasteners are secure and not loose.
Veneer front and back of each device is complete, the surface is normal, no obvious signs of damage.
Required: Confirmation of the slot and the installation of the main backup veneer.
Required: Insert and place the veneer, the method of inserting and placing the veneer, please refer to the field replacement of the veneer. The veneer should be inserted along the guide channel to the bottom of the subrack and the veneer handle bar should be properly fastened.
REQUIRED: Observe the status of each indicator of the veneer during and after the power-up process. See Device and Board Alarm Indicators for LED status descriptions.
Required: Check the version matching relationship between the single board and the host, network management, to ensure that the single board version matching the use of error-free.
Required: Check the micro-switch of the single board: if the handle bar of the main and backup cross boards are closed, pull open the handle bar of the main board to realize the reversal of the main and backup.

Acceptance Test
Required: Observe the single-board indicator, by observing the status of the indicator on the handle bar, to see whether the single-board is normally on, the status light is all green means that the single-board is running normally. For the description of the single board indicator, please refer to the description of the single board alarm indicator.
Required: Query the single-board alarms and performance events, and modify the connection or configuration of the single-board according to the alarms and performance until the related alarms disappear. To query alarms and performance events, see Browsing Current Alarms of a Network Element.
