OSN3500 SSN1SXCSA Super Crossover Clock Board

SSN1SXCSA is a super cross-clock board, which provides service scheduling, clock input/output and other functions in OptiX OSN system. The cross-clock board provides timing information to other single boards in the system to realize the convergence and scheduling of various services, and completes the communication with other single boards in the system and the configuration management of other single boards.

OSN3500 SSN1SXCSA Functions and Features

The SXCSA single board supports service scheduling, clock input and output, and other functions and features.

OSN3500 SSN1SXCSA Cross Connection Unit

The cross-connect unit functions and features of the SXCSA single board are shown in Table 1.

Basic Functions	Completion of 200 Gbit/s VC-4 high-order crossover, 20 Gbit/s VC-3/VC-12 low-order crossover, and 155 Gbit/s access capability.
Service Processing	Provide flexible scheduling capability of services, support non-blocking full cross, support multicast and broadcast services. Provide communication function with other single boards. Supports microswitch to realize smooth protection inversion of cross boards. Supports SNCP protection at VC-4-4c, VC-4-8c, VC-4-16c, VC-4-64c, VC-4, VC-12, VC-3 and AU-3 levels. Supports VC-4-4c, VC-4-8c, VC-4-16c and VC-4-64c cascading services. Supports up to 40 linear multiplexing segment protection groups. Supports up to 12 ring multiplexing segment protection groups. Up to 2016 SNCP protection pairs are supported. Up to 592 SNCMP protection pairs are supported. Supports up to 512 SNCTP protection pairs.
Protection Mode	Supports 1+1 hot backup of single-board cross and clock units, and the protection mode is non-recovery by default.

Other Functions	Supports processing of S1 byte for clock protection inversion. Supports the extraction, insertion and processing functions of SSM information and clock ID. Provides real clock RTC.
Inputs and outputs	Through AUX single board: Supports input/output of 2 timing signals with impedance of 75Ω and frequency of 2MHz or 2048kbit/s, and provides the function of selecting external timing source. Supports input/output of 2 timing signals with impedance of 120Ω at a frequency of 2MHz or 2048kbit/s, and provides the function of selecting external timing sources.
