For example, the modification of the original network needs to upgrade the SDH ring of OSN3500 STM-16 to the ring of STM-64. So that the capacity of the link upgrade is inevitable, the current method of roughly two kinds of a method is to use the traditional method, the other method is to use the T2000 Capacity Expansion Wizard to do the link upgrade, the use of Capacity Expansion Wizard upgrade due to the existing business does not affect so it is very convenient. On the use of T2000 Expansion Wizard for link upgrading our company has two versions of the guide, but the restrictions are not very specific, not all the restrictions listed clearly. 1. The supported devices are OSN7500 (version 5.21.13.40 or above), OSN3500 (version 5.21.13.40 or above), OSN2500 (version 5.36.12.40 or above), OSN1500 (version 5.36.13.40 or above), this function is related to the commands supported by the host computer, and it is not supported by the previous version. Other devices are not supported.
2 . Non-SDH devices and SDH devices with logical board position upgrades are not supported;
3 . In the presence of shared optical paths, only upgrades with only one multiplexed segment protection group configured are supported, and upgrades with more than one multiplexed segment protection group configured are not supported;
4 . Upgrades are not supported when the veneer is equipped with AU3 services;
5 . Link capacity upgrades across WDM networks are not supported;
6 . Link capacity upgrades on a multi-optical port veneer are not supported. Capacity upgrade is not supported on single boards with multiple optical ports. The function of single board change only supports the replacement of the same port rate, for example, it does not support the original SL1 single board, and now it is to be replaced by SD4, so the single board change cannot realize the link capacity upgrade, and you need to use this wizard to complete the function.
7 . Link capacity upgrade across REGs is not supported.
8 . Supported protection subnet types are: 2-fiber unidirectional multiplexing segment ring, 2-fiber bi-directional multiplexing segment ring, 4-fiber bi-directional multiplexing segment ring, 1+1 linear multiplexing segment, 1:N linear multiplexing segment, and unprotected chain, ring, PP ring, and SNCP.
9 . Require that there is no fault in the protection subnet before the operation, and that no inversion occurs. When deleting the original protection group, the host service will not be deleted, and the service in the protection subnet will lose protection during the operation.
10. For intelligent network elements, the routes must first be optimized and locked before the links can be upgraded.
11. The version of the network management is T2000V002R002C01 or later.
12. For the upgrade area, carry out the reversal test of the multiplexing section to confirm that the working and protection channels are normal, and there is no abnormality in the reversal.
13. For multi-optical boards can not be upgraded by this method.
14. This method is only applicable to upgrade the link of the same slot of the same network element, and cannot be used for the replacement of the network element or the replacement of the slot.
