Problem Description
Before downgrading OSN2500 network elements, if you go directly to perform the operation without wiping the library, it is likely that the downgrade will lead to failure, and the network elements may enter the off-pipe state, and the main control unit hangs dead. In this case, we can generally format the board by performing hardware jumper operations on the board, and after reloading the software, the master control unit can be restored to normal.
However, in the existing documentation, such as the single-board opening guide, only introduces the OSN3500/7500 products GSCC main control board hardware jumper formatting method; in the OSN1500/2500 used on the Q2/Q3CXL and other single-board hardware formatting method of the main control unit, there is no relevant records and descriptions.

Processing
SSQ2CXL/SSQ3CXL single board hardware formatting specific operation steps:
1. Dial the dip switch SW in the button board to " 1111 ", that is, the white dial code in the dip switch is dialed to the ON terminal;
2, plug and unplug the single board, or press the Reset button on the handle bar, restart the single board, wait for 15 minutes;
3、After 15 minutes, set the dip switch to " 0000 ", i.e. the white dial code is set to " 1234 " end;
4, restart the single board, to be single board PROG light red light is always on, the single board into the BIOS state, single board formatting operation is complete.
Add software:
1, the network cable into the COM port on the AUX single board
2, open IE, enter ftp://192.168.0.X (82 or 83 ) to log in the single board, as shown in the figure:
3、Double click to open ofs1 folder, add host software and extended bios in HWX, and add FPGA in fpga folder.
4、Close IE, press the Reset button on the pull-down bar to restart the single board, the single board returns to normal.
