Description of the problem

When the OSN1500 transmission equipment at a site is upgraded from V1R9C04 to V1R10C03, after the activation is completed, the primary master board reports the NE_INSTALL alarm, and all the cfg commands are not available, and an error message is returned. The NE_Install alarm is reported.

Processing

The alarm is reported because the database is corrupted, resulting in unsuccessful validation of the network element data.

Root Cause

The database is corrupted and the configuration of the network element is lost after upgrading to the installation state.

Solution

Erase the database, reset the master and download the network management data, and erase the database steps:

1. Execute the following four commands one at a time, one by one

:sftm-delete-file:82, "ofs1/prevpdt"

:sftm-delete-file:82, "ofs2/prevpdt"

:sftm-delete-file:83, "ofs1/prevpdt"

:sftm-delete-file:83, "ofs2/prevpdt"

2、Soft reset CXLLN master. The command is as follows:reset

Wait for the master control to be up and then execute the following steps.

Erase the database, reset the master and download the network management data.

Erase database step:

1. Use the following commands to stop automatic database backup and periodic backup:

:dbms-set-autobackup:disable

:dbms-set-cyclebackup:disable

2. Delete all database files with the following command

:dbms-delete-database:all,drdb,master

:dbms-delete-database:all,fdb0,master

:dbms-delete-database:all,fdb1,master

Spare board cleanup commands: :dbms-delete-database:all,fdb1,master

:dbms-delete-database:all,drdb,slave

:dbms-delete-database:all,fdb0,slave

:dbms-delete-database:all,fdb1,slave

3. Use the following to check whether the database has been cleared.

:dbms-get-list:drdb

:dbms-get-list:fdb0

:dbms-get-list:fdb1

If the cleanup is complete, it should return "failed! cmd:0x3005 error:0x9205 NSERR_DBMS_HEAD_CHECK_ERROR"; otherwise, it is necessary to issue the command to clean up the database again (for R8 and below, if the above cleanup command succeeds, you can ignore the step 3 and directly execute the step 4)

4. Soft reset the standby master control, and soft reset the master control after 10s clock.

First use the command :hsc-get-ms-info; to check the status of master and backup.

5、After the master is reset, use the following commands to turn on automatic database backup and periodic backup:

6. The network administrator sends down the configuration of the network element and checks whether the service is normal.

:hsc-get-work

:hbu-get-backup-info

:cfg-check-ocphbu.
