root cause

By reviewing the black box records of all the veneers of both devices, it was confirmed that both OSN devices had experienced an instantaneous power-down hard reset at the same time. Since it was both devices in the cabinet that failed, the focus was on the suspicion that it was caused by an abnormal input power supply shared by the two devices. Through the current network investigation, found that the two external input to the PDU power cable installation is not standardized, directly crimped bare wire, and pressure on the insulation skin, resulting in poor contact, resistance is too large, the heat is serious, the terminal insulation skin burnt.

Therefore, the fault for the PDU input cable terminal connection is not standardized, PDU input poor contact, power fluctuations.

Solution

Reconnect the PDU input cable, make sure that the cable is connected tightly, do not press the insulating skin, and recommend the use of cold-pressed terminals
