OptiX OSN1500B is a double-layer structure, the upper layer is the outlet board and power supply board slot area, with a total of 6 slots, and the lower layer is the processing board and auxiliary class single board slot area, with a total of 11 slots when the slots are not split; after splitting, there are 14 slots. The slots are distributed in a corresponding relationship, including the corresponding relationship between the slots of the outlet board and the slots of the processing board, and the corresponding relationship of the pairwise slots.

1、Line, main control, crossover and clock combined board slots: slot 4~5
2、Slot 6~9, slot 11~13 for the service processing single board before slot splitting.

1. slot 7 and slot 12 share the outlet board slot slot 15, so you cannot insert and place single boards with outlet boards at the same time.
Slot 8 and slot 13 share slot 17, so a single board with an outlet board cannot be inserted at the same time.
3、slot 6 and slot 11 share slot 15 and slot 17 of the outlet board, so the single board with outlet board cannot be inserted at the same time.
Correspondence of Pairwise Slots
A pair of slots is a pair of slots where overheads can be passed through the backplane bus. When a single board is inserted in a pair of slots, it can realize the automatic transmission of overheads such as K byte, D byte, E1, etc., improve the performance of multiplexing segment inversion, and not affect the DCC communication, official telephone, and other functions of other network elements when the main control board of the network element is not in position. The correspondence of the pairwise slots is shown in Table 2.
