The NO_BD_SOFT alarm does not normally occur during normal operation of Metro1000V3 devices, and it basically occurs after the device host is upgraded.
Alarm Information
NO_BD_SOFT is a single board without software alarm (Software file corrupted or missing). This alarm indicates that there is no software required by the single board, or the name of the single board software is wrong.
Alarm Parameters:
When browsing alarms in the network management, select the alarm, and the related parameters of the alarm will be displayed in the "Alarm Details". The format of alarm parameter is "Alarm Parameter (hexadecimal): Parameter 1 Parameter 2...Parameter n", such as: Alarm Parameter (hexadecimal): 0x01 0x08.... See the following table for a description of the meaning of each parameter:
Parameter 1 Fixed to 0x01, meaningless.
Parameter 2 and parameter 3 represent the type of file missing from the software of the single board, and the value range is different for each single board.
Parameter 4 and 5 are reserved.
Impact on the system:

0x13 means /ofs1/fpga/eow.pga file is missing.
0x14 Indicates /ofs1/fpga/xc_stg.pga file is missing.
0x15 Indicates /ofs1/fpga/xc_ts.pga file is missing.
0x17 means /ofs1/hwx/extbios.hwx file is missing.
0x21 means /ofs2/hwx/nesoft.hwx file is missing.
0x22 means /ofs2/hwx/ne.ini file is missing.
0x23 means /ofs2/fpga/eow.pga file is missing.
0x24 Indicates /ofs2/fpga/xc_stg.pga file is missing.
0x25 Indicates missing /ofs2/fpga/xc_ts.pga file.
Second, delete the missing or incomplete files by ::sftm-delete-file command.
For example::sftm-delete-file:11,"/ofs1/fpga/eow.pga";
Third: Copy another complete software package over with the :sftm-copy-file command.

Fourth, reset the host via the Reset command.

Root Cause
