Provides access to STM-1 optical signals.Provides four optical interface types, Ie-1, S-1.1, L-1.1, and L-1.2.The OI2S and OI2D boards can provide a synchronized clock source for the clock unit.Supports multiplexed segment protection and SNCP protection.With ALS function.Provides protection function for DCC and official communication.With internal/external loopback.the OI2S and OI2D support pluggable optical modules. the Metro1000 V3 equipment can also use STM-1 optical interface boardsto form a ring or chain at the STM-1 rate.Mix with other Huawei transmission equipment, such as OptiX 155/622, OptiX 2500+, and so on, to form an STM-1 rate ring or chain.Provides STM-1 optical interfaces for interfacing with third-party equipment.the SL1Q/SL1O boards do not support multiplexed segment protection, support SNCP, and are mainly used for accessing low-level transmission equipment, such as OptiX Metro 500 and OptiX Metro 100.

Problem Description

Metro1000V3 5-slot OI4D optical boards are grouped into rings, which are normally opened after service configuration without any abnormal alarms. One day, after the user expands SS48OI2D in any slot of 1, 2, or 3, the R_LOS light of the optical board in slot 5 is seen on the scene, and the user thinks that the expansion has caused service interruption. The network management viewed the network element did not have any abnormal alarms, and the command line viewed the network element still did not have abnormal alarms, and the service was normal.

Host version: 5.37.05.12P03, OI2D software version 100.

Alarm information

No abnormal alarms from the network management, and the R_LOS light is on when viewed on site.

Processing

1, in the network management to view the network element without any abnormal alarms, check the alarm shielding, suppression, reversal, filtering and so on are normal;

2, with the command line to view the network element does not have any abnormal alarms;

3, business is normal;

4, after consulting the R & D learned that the Metro1000 V3R5 version of the software there is a bug, as long as the expansion slot inserted to support the SFP optical module circuit board, then when this circuit board on the line after the start of its optical port LOS status will be reacted in the master corresponding to the LOS indicator, regardless of the existence of the LOS alarms on the master control. This problem has now been solved on V3R6 and later versions.

1. Alarm related settings are made on the network administrator;
